2015-18 QX60 CVT Warranty Extension Reinstatement Request

In an effort to ensure customer satisfaction and demonstrate our confidence in continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), and to address customer concerns including those expressed by customers through litigation, INFINITI has extended the warranty coverage on the CVT of certain 2015-18 QX60 vehicles.

Owners that have opted out of the class action settlement will have their warranty extensions voided pursuant to their request to be excluded from the settlement remedy.

If you are a class member and believe that your warranty extension has been incorrectly voided, please complete the attached form, provide the necessary documents listed on the form and submit those documents for review.

In an effort to ensure customer satisfaction and demonstrate our confidence in continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), and to address customer concerns including those expressed by customers in class action litigation, INFINITI will extend the warranty coverage on the CVT assembly including: internal CVT components, gaskets, and seals, CVT control valve body, torque converter, cooler kit (if applicable) and reprogram of the Transmission Control Module (TCM), on the effected vehicles from its original duration of 72 months/70,000 miles to 96 months/94,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
