INFINITI is extending the emission warranty coverage for the Engine Room Sub-Harness (Oil Pump Adaptor Wiring Harness) on model year 2016-2018 INFINITI Q50 and Q60 (2.0L) vehicles to 20 Years and unlimited mileage. All other warranty terms, limitations, and conditions remain unchanged.

On some 2016-2018 INFINITI Q50 and Q60 2.0L vehicles, customers are experiencing a MIL illumination related to the oil pressure control system (DTC P06DA) after reprogramming of the ECM following the update remedy in connection with Emission Recall R24B1 formerly R22D1 (ISS ECM Reprogram). These issues have no effect on vehicle safety or drivability.

The replacement could take up to two (2.0) hours to complete for AWD vehicles and nine (9.0) hours for RWD vehicles, but your INFINITI retailer may require your vehicle for a longer.

If you previously paid to diagnose and repair a Engine Room Sub-Harness (Oil Pump Adaptor Wiring Harness) for your 2016-2018 INFINITI Q50 or Q60 (2.0L) vehicle within the warranty extension term of 20 years/unlimited mileage, you may be eligible for reimbursement of this expense, even if your vehicle is now beyond the limits of the warranty extension.
